Just trialling a new blog template with daily prompts to make my entries more regular. Readers will be pleased to hear that occasional blogging on my travels and other topics will not be sacrificed on the altar of progress.
Weather: Damp, brief sunny spells
Mood: Relatively chirpy
Word: "Bowl echo" - farting on toilet
Rosie: Played peepo with sweetcorn, offered me her yoghurt with her tongue hanging out and the words, "Daddy some?"
Lunch: Leftover curry sauce with rice and peas
Exercise: 10-mile run
Booze: Teetotal till Sunday
Purchased: Train tickets to Glasgow, tie clip, paid gas & electric bills
Media: Love & Other Drugs (film), somehow ended up on our LoveFilm waiting list, passable romcom
Notes: Lie-in till gone 8am, scrambled eggs & bagel for breakfast, busy working writing news stories and editing new products feature, followed by longest run ever and sausage & mash

Blog: Reading this story on my work research rounds this morning didn't make me think how could the US have another loon as a presidential candidate, but more that politicians need to butt out of public health issues, especially vaccines. The MMR saga in the UK and Tony Blair are a case in point. Let's just trust the scientists and experts to do their job
